Specializing in very realistic wildlife paintings and pet portraits, Laurie has developed her own technique of painting with acrylics on canvas. The paintings are done on a very smooth canvas with thinned paints that build up in layers to make the paintings come alive. The realism and the personality of the subjects come across through her techniques.
