Dear Parents,

Laurie is a teacher and a professional artist. She started these camps 33 years ago for her own kids.  BackyardArt© Camp is a summer art experience for students    6-13 years. The program’s main focus is on creative expressions through involvement in drawing, painting and three dimensional techniques. Laurie follows a philosophy that each child possesses an artistic talent to be encouraged and developed. BackyardArt© Camps are held in Glenview. Class size is limited to ensure that each child receives ample individual attention.

The cost of each one week session is $410, which includes all supplies..  The sessions are 3 hours a day with a break in the middle of each class.

The new 2026 registration forms are already online. This form list all 8 sessions planned for this summer.  Some parents have already formed groups with their children. However we have indicated on the Registration form that some of those sessions are still available for a number additional students.
