Dear Parents,
Laurie is a teacher and a professional artist. She started these camps 31 years ago for her own kids. BackyardArt© Camp is a summer art experience for students 7-14 years. The program’s main focus is on creative expressions through involvement in drawing, painting and three dimensional techniques. Laurie follows a philosophy that each child possesses an artistic talent to be encouraged and developed. BackyardArt© Camps are held in Glenview. Class size is limited to ensure that each child receives ample individual attention.
Each one week session is 3 hours a day with a break in the middle of each class. Each session costs $375, which includes all supplies.
The new 2024 registration form is ready below. As you will see, some of the sessions are no longer available. If the sessions that are available don't work for you, please contact me at either the phone number or email listed above. I'll keep your child's name in the event that openings become available in any of the other sessions.
The fastest and easiest way to register is to complete our online form below. The sessions marked "reserved" are for groups that were put together earlier. If your child is on the list for a reserved time just fill out the form for the session you signed up for. The form below has a check-off if you want to pay with your credit card.
And now, you can pay your camp fees with Venmo. Just send your Venmo payment to: @laurie-walkerartist. Of course, if you prefer you can mail a check to:
